Hello again,

I am on the design team with Becci over at Halo, and have lots of crotchet goodies from her Lime Tree Creations - so i decided to have a go at her challenge this month - which was to USE clouds. One can never have too much of Becci's stuff!

Here's my pretty pretty page..... a real showcase of both HALO and LTC!

Papers: New Scrapcake papers from Handmade HALO (OH YUM!), plus a bit of Lilybee
Lots of Halo - pebbles, rafia flower, baby bloomers, resin cameo
And of course, that beautiful white Lime tree stuff!

Thanks, and go on - join Becci in this challenge this month!

123 Challenge - MARCH

Hi everyone,

Last night I tackled 123 Challenge.... ooooooo, it's a tricky one I reckon,,....

the word "1,2,3",
the colour "METALLIC BLUE" and
"use something organic"

Luckily I had an AZURE blue Smooch ink... which i painted on everything - on flowers, on resin (then sealed the colour with dimensional magic), on chipboard, on lettering, on buttons, plus managed a few flicks from the end of the brush!

Here it is:

Papers: MME and Glitz
Letters: Lilybee, Fancy pants, heidi swapp
Embellishments: Skeleton leaves, buttons, chipboard frame.  Speciality flower (with feather) and resin from HANDMADE HALO.
{organic items are the leaves and feather.}

CLOSE UPS...

Love that Bruno Mars song - seemed to fit with this photo of my Mum and I!

Thanks for looking!

Daring you to Scrap - MARCH challenge

This month at Daring you to scrap - you had to use Photostrips.
So I dug out these photo booth strips from my sister Anna's 21st birthday.
Fun photos (probably taken in the latter part of the night) with me being silly with my brother and sister!

Papers: 6 inch MME, Basic Grey
Embellishments: twine, Basic Grey and MME brads, black bling, butterfly and frame from Precocious Papers and PEBBLE and RESIN from Handmade Halo

This is all so crooked... when I am usually so straighty-180.....

MARCH mystery box challenge at RES

Hi all,

Ready for another great challenge from RES - always good prizes up for grabs, so have a go!

Creative team members, Liz and Amanda, challenge you to invent your own project using mystery box items.

Create a layout OR a card using the following items, and post into the RES gallery by the end of the month for a chance to win a prize.

In your Mystery box this month:

* Bright colours

* bling

* pearls

* scalloped edges

Please note: You may add some staples from your pantry (!!! - ie. ink, stitching, lettering), but please try to stick to the core ingredients as much as possible. This month you must use both PEARLS and BLING.

Here are our creations for some RES inspiration:

Amanda's layout:
PAPERS: Summertime papers from ECHO PARK- plus I used the matching Sticker sheet - HERE.
Plenty of pearls and bling available in store - find it HERE.
Plus, look how good Halo products match - Raffia flower and resin flowers available from Handmade Halo.

A close up of those bling-pearl scatters and flowers...

Liz's card:

Looking forward to what you cook up this month!
Thanks,
Amanda
