Hi all,
I am loving being on the DT at Kraft Plus. Please make sure you check out the challenge this month and all the amazing examples.... HERE...
Here is this month's challenge....

And here is my page and some close ups...
I started this page by adding some Colour Blast Heavy White Gesso to the Kraft background. I then used Colour Paste (in Sunshine) through the sun-ray Tim Holtz stencil. Lastly for the background I splattered some Colour Shimmer Cube (in Apple of my Eye) and painted some on the edges.
You can see that I ended up trimming the edges of the kraft paper and mounting it on a plain soft yellow paper. Not only does this help with the buckle, I also like the look. I usually steal a square from the middle, so I can matte the photo with the same paper!
I also printed some journaling on vellum and stuck this on the layout, some down the side and some in the sun-rays.
I went with leaves and flowers as a theme for this page, and as I am currently obsessed with embossing, you will see loads of Colour Blast Embossing powders in action!
Along the top of the photo, I continued leaves from the tree in the photo. I used 2Crafty chipboard leaves and embossed them with Colour Blast Embossing Powder (in Leather and Apple of my Eye).
In this cluster also layered in a Pip Berry stem , stamen, resin butterfly and flowers- all from D-lish Scraps.
And this flair is also from D-lish Scraps!
This cute flag was from my stash - where do we get all these little finishing treasures from?
Lastly for the title, I used a wood veneer word and also embossed it using Colour Blast Embossing Powder (in Leather). I put it on top of a CHARMS CREATIONS DIY arrow. I had coloured this arrow with Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Dusts (in Sunflower and Paris).
I also repeated more of the D-lish Scrap goodies: flowers, stamen and pip berry stem.
I love this page. I love that being on the Kraft Plus team is pushing me to create amazing and meaningful pages!
Thanks for looking, Amanda
