If you want a warm, fuzzy, sweet challenge this month, the KRAFT PLUS is for you... with this challenge./..
Make sure you head to the blog to see all the samples from the team.
Here is my page and some close ups!
My bee inspiration can with the black stripes on the background, the chipboard hexagons, the "be happy" title and the little old Basic Grey chipboard bee I found in my stash.... I even doodled some little bees on my border!
And I am scrapping one of my older, but very favourite family photos--- look at those sweet baby cheeks of our Jessie - who is now nearly 10!
Colour Blast was used throughout this project. Firstly the Heavy Black Gesso for the black stripes.
The splatters are Colour Shimmer Cubes in Punch, Envy and Sunshine, plus the white splatters are watered down Heavy White Gesso.
I also embossed all the hexagons using Colour Embossing Powder in Punch, Envy and Sunshine.
I love this pink, teal and yellow colour combo!
I finished with the paper lace doiley, flowers and stamen from D-lish Scraps.
I love the way the splatters from the Colour Shimmer Cubes hold their colour and vibrancy when splattered over other things - like on the black stripes and the embossed chipboard!
Lucky my friend Sue gave me a wide brush to perfect this brush background technique!
Thanks for looking!
Amanda
