Show us your stuff - March challenge

Another challenge that I did during my weekend was for Show Us Your Stuff....

I do love this challenge blog.... inspiring us to create our own handmade stuff for our scrap pages.... although I must confess that I feel like I cheated this month.... You must used handmade goodies to qualify for this challenge and I did... I just used someone elses handmade goodies....!!!!! But I did handstitch by banner! I promise next month to make my own :)

This month we had to create a layout with handmade products AND the words EXCITE/EXCITED/EXCITEMENT. Here is my layout:

Handmade products on this layout:

Flair buttons from A Piece of Cake Designs
Felt goodies from scrAp{this}
Butterfly from Chelley Bean Designs

Thanks for looking..... I SOOOOOOO am looking forward to scrapping more and doing monthly challenges again!

Scrap the Girls - March 2013

I can admit it... I have been TOOOOOOOOO busy. House neglected. Scrapbooking neglected. Blog VERY neglected. I am loving my work right now, which is one good thing. :)

What is one great way to bring back your MOJO and get your Scrap on? Fly to Melbourne and spend the entire weekend laughing and creating with an AWESOME group of girls. Girls that I had known online, that I finally got to meet in real life.

I planned and prepared lots of layouts and got 36 layouts done in the weekend. Power scrapping and all that.

One of the challenges was SCRAP THE GIRLS, and I loved the colour scheme in this months challenge - Green, white and black. And inspired by those around me, here is the page I created that weekend for the challenge,....

not my usual style.... but that is good right? to paint and be messy?
And not one piece of patterned paper. Shock horror.
I used rubons and paints to create the background.
Embellishments: Washi tape, Thickers, sequins and paper roses.
felt person and tag from scrAp{this}
Fabric sticker from Handmade Halo
fabric button from Purple Pumpkin

Thanks for stopping by,
