Jot Mood Board - November 2016

Such a beautiful mood board at JOT this month.

Oh.... these colours....



And here is my page.....

I added water to Colour Blast Shimmer Dusts in Paris (green) and Peacock (blue) and paint this directly onto the cardstock background. I also did some paint splatters.
I also took the lids off Colour Blast Shimmer Spray in Steel (sparkly grey), and paint some onto the page. I love how the colours mixed as I added the Shimmer Spray!

I've used some awesome embellishments, some things from my stash that I have had forever, the flair and the green acrylic apple. But also are some of my stock favourite things:

sequin bow, resin glitter dots, spotty buttons from D-lish Scraps;

and a DIY circle from Charms Creations, which I painted with the Colour Blast Shimmer Dusts.

White with One - November

This months colour at White with One......




I kept it clean and used some perfect papers and embellishments to create this page:

 

Things from the vault.... the pinwheel butterfly is something I got many years ago from a cool little company called "A Lil Something" and pulled out some old BRADS and felt flower from the stash too!

Resin flowers and doily from D-lish Scraps.

 

"True Story" diecut is another thing from my stash - no idea where I got it from now! ha!

And as you can see from the journaling - a page just to say thanks to my Mum who always knows best and happens to make the best Ginger Kisses!

Scrap the Boys - November

This month at Scrap the Boys.....




I was really happy to scrap these photos of my husband, from when he played for Australia in the Touch Football world cup... #proudwife

 

Circles plus Colour Blast Shimmer Dusts plus doodling = this awesome background - perfect Green and Gold colours!

 

Colour Blast Embossing powders in Sunshine (yellow) used on chipboard stars, then also a little bit of doodling added. And paper star diecut from D-lish Scraps.

I even doodled on the Flair button from D-lish Scraps.

Perfect GREEN Chevron from Charms Creations and another flair, this one from Flutterby Designs.

Show Us Your Stuff - November

Welcome to November....

Can't wait to share this page, cos I think it is kinda cool!

The challenges at SUYS this month is NO PEOPLE.



And here is my page and some close ups...

A cluster here of all good things...
Handmade items from:

Plus awesome embellishments (puffy alphas, resin, punchinella, doily) from D-lish Scraps.

And I love the background I created .... here's what I did.
1. Gesso's the background
2. Dribbled white house paint around and left to dry overnight.
3. Sprinkled 4 colours of Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Dust onto a big sheet of plastic.
4. Sprayed Shimmer Dust with water and watched the colours run
5. Pushed cardstock onto the colour and then dried it quickly with heat gun to keep the colour through the centre of the layout and not all over the page!

Oh so messy, but how cool does it look??~!!!!
