Kraft Plus - April.

Hi everyone,

Another intriguing challenge at Kraft Plus this April...




It took me a few nights and a few layers before I got this finished. That's because I was not sure about how my background would work!

Anyway, here it is...

I wanted to create a black and white swirly effect on the background, like in the inspo picture, but it didn't quite work out! I used clear gesso on the background, then water with black Dylusions and white Mr Huey's. Anyway, it still worked out okay! I also used texture paste layers as well.

Flowers, butterfly and flair from D-lish Scraps.

Show us Your Stuff - April challenge

A great challenge at Show Us Your Stuff...



And don't forget your HANDMADE item.

I stamped around the border with an AC chevron stamp and Technique Tuesday word stamp.

But the main feature was the HEARTS.. stamped, hand coloured and then cut out. The journal circles were also stamped and cut out. You can also see the Rainbow Splendour pretty pin alongside the photo.

I used a CHARMS CREATIONS DIY plus, coloured orange, as well as some D-lish Scraps embellishments.

White with One - APRIL challenge

I am lucky enough to be staying on in the White with 1 Design team... so here is this month's challenge and my page:

Layout made up of doilies, some scraps of paper, some mist splatters and doodling and stamping.

Added a bit of colour to the Charms Creations DIY.

Also... LOTS of D-lish Scraps goodies!

Scrapping Outback March challenge

Sneaking in ONE more challenge for March!

This time, for Scrapping Outback.... "White with a twist"....


Easy to be inspired by these colours!


Here is my page and some close ups!

To create this background, I sprayed pink (then blue) on a heart stencil, and put it upside down on the white cardstock, using my brayer to get the negative of the stencil. I then inked and coloured with the turquoise colour using my Tim Holts distress stain and pen.

Doodling and washi tape for the border.

Charms Creation DIY heart, as well as some D-lish Scraps embellies. Found an old ladybug fabric covered button, not sure where I got that little beauty from!

My chipboard: a few little Imaginarium Designs arrows, coloured pink to match the layout!

JOT mood Board for March

Welcome to my blog.....

I always love the details and charm in a Jot Mood Board and I was stoked that I found time this month to join in....



Here is my page and close ups.... I really ended up playing the GREEN, not sure how that happened....

 

I bought that cute AC Dear Lizzy mason jar stamp ages ago, so it was awesome to finally use it! Added wood veneer as the embellishments (from D-lish Scraps), as well as some bows and flowers.

Scrapbooking Top 50 - March challenge

Another "sweet" challenge at http://scrapbookingtop50oz.blogspot.com.au/ this month.



Here is my page and some close ups:

White cardstock and some watercolours and posca pen doodling. Then added my layers of papers (Bo Bunny and Studio Calico) and embellishments!

I painted a wood veneer word (from my recent JAP kit from D-lish scraps), as well as adding a vellum cloud bow from Rainbow Splendour and a Flutterby design flair. Can you spot the Charms in there too?

Added some colour to the DIY Charms Creations circle and terrific tab.

Also wood button and paper flowers from D-lish Scraps.

Love this old kite from my stash!
