MISTRA'S Mystery October challenge over at RED EARTH..

Head to RES for some more great challenges. Here's a quick word from Mistra about her challenge this month:

"My challenge for you this month was a challenge for me, it's something I never {or rarely do} but it's something I want to get over the phobia of doing!

STAMPING!!

I would like you this month to create a layout with Stamping on it!

I have created a LO of my hubby and I, which was taken just yesterday.  It looks a bit dorky, but hey, that's us LOL!
 October

I have used 13th Hour Stamps by Kaiser as well as the gorgeous Timely Bird by Hero Arts Clings.  All sorts of stamps and inks can be found in the shop here: http://www.redearthscrapping.com.au/catalog/54

I love the ones that are mounted to clear acrylic blocks, so I can see where I am stamping... it really took that "OMG" factor out of it for me!!" - Mistra

And being on the creative team, I also get to play along for some extra inspiration.  So here is my layout for the month, using some of the stamps in my stash:

I used a quote stamp down one side of the layout as the background and drew the title from this quote as well.  I love how my clock turned out - I stamped the clock onto a doiley. Once the ink had dried I picked a smooch ink from my stash....

I picked snickerdoodle. (big stash--Ha ha ha!)
And then painted the clock face.  Also stamped and hand cut another clock face and stuck on the a foam dot. Also used my script stamp on the brown scalloped circle. Then I added the usual pretty embellishments to finish.

NOW - pull those stamps out of your stash and then pull all your new wonderful goodies you just bought from RES, and get creating!!!!

Have your layout loaded to Mistra's Mystery Challenge Gallery before midnight 31st October to have a chance to win!!

Thanks,
Amanda
