Artastic - January challenge

Always cool challenges at Artastic, and I have added it to my list to try and get done every month!

I love this month's inspiration:
Plus: CITY theme.

Here is my page, featuring a photo of me with some friends after a night out in Toronto:

I painted the black cardstock with Colour Blast Black Gesso, which may seem silly. However, the layer of gesso meant that I could add Colour Shimmer Sprays and water, and it pooled on the surface (rather than soaking right in), giving me time to blow (with a straw) the colour across the page. I was trying to make it look like fireworks! Lots of splatters and sprays too.

Thanks for looking today!

Amanda
