White with 1

So it's the beginning of April and again I'm gonna throw my hand at some of the awesome blog challenges we have. First up White with 1.

Here's the funny thing - last week I had SO much scrapping to get done for design team commitments that I had to have a BREAK (!!) and I didn't scrap for a whole 4 days! Well this morning I couldn't stop thinking about this White with 1 page and while Dave was hanging out washing, vacuuming and tidying (bless!), I selfishly ignored everything and went about creating this lovely page. Hope you like! The challenge was to use WHITE - with one colour- this month OLIVE GREEN, plus add twine.

I used whiteish background (Crate Paper) and then Olive paper (basic grey) - distressed and swiped with white paint.  Behind the photos, I painted white lightly before using my Prima script stamp with white ink - loving that look! Painted some lines for my journalling too. I square-punched and inked some lovely NEW prima paper and then finished off with brads, eyelets, washers, a flower, and of course twine.  I rolled twine around in a circle, which look cool too. Title using new Fancy pants letter on a Pink Paislee pleated ribbon. Done.

Thanks for stopping by!
Amanda
